Contentment is not our confinement.

Contentment is not our confinement

I don’t think I have ever heard it like this but, I think this is exactly how I feel. It’s NOT that I am UN-happy WHERE I am, it’s just that I believe I can do so much more.

(The following is a quote from a FB friend.)

“Contentment is not our confinement, it’s the catalyst that launches us into a new place, a new thing, a new hour, or a new season.

God doesn’t want us to be content WITH our circumstances, He wants us to be content IN them. Marriage, be content. Your job, be content. Relationships, be content. Contentment doesn’t mean you can’t change how your circumstances look, it means that you are the catalyst of change in the circumstance. Be Jesus.

“Not that I am speaking of being in need, for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content.”
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭4:11‬ ‭ESV‬‬”
(Keith Fountain)

And, BTW: It is MY fault if “I” allow others to hold me back.
